Before we tell you how, lets put it into perspective
To burn 350 Calories of Fat per day on a treadmill you will need to run on that thing for 5 Hours A Day!!! Now, we don’t know about you, but that’s a little more time than even we are willing to commit boring ourselves on the road to nowhere!

Fortunately for you, we have another cunning plan. Before we share it with you there are a few things you need to understand. Specifically with regards to how Carbohydrates affect the hormone Insulin which in turn can stimulate your body to layer on the fat!

So, Can Eating Too Many Carbs Make You Fat?
Firstly, Carbohydrates are  essential to your diet as they are the main source of energy for the body. This is because they are most readily converted into glucose, a type of sugar that is transported around your body as fuel.

Even so, a diet too high in carbohydrates will make you fat. And here’s why …Too many carbohydrates can upset the delicate balance of your body’s blood sugar level, resulting in a production of the  Master Hormone ‘Insulin’.

Insulin tells your body that there is to much sugar in your blood stream therefore it begins a process to remove the excess sugar from your blood stream. Here’s where it goes:

  • Firstly, it moves some to your Liver (used for your brain function). Now, the Liver is not that big really so it can only store a limited amount.
  • When your Liver is full it moves what it can of the remaining sugar to your muscle cells and stores it as glycogen (required for your muscles to work). And just like the liver, the muscles can only store a limited amount.
  • And then, after the Liver and Muscles are full guess what happens to the rest of the sugar? …Yes, that’s right, the remaining sugar gets stored as Fat. Now heres the interesting thing… Your body can store an unlimited amount of fat anywhere it wants, all over your body.


Putting On Fat Is Not The Only Problem…
Not only does the hormone Insulin control the amount of fat you store it also controls how you feel on a daily basis as your body produces to much insulin therefore your blood sugar levels drop to low, this is called hypoglycaemia typical symptoms of hypoglycaemia are, tiredness, mood swings, headaches,  cravings for sugary fast foods i.e chocolate, crisps fizzy drinks etc. Most people experience this within an hour of eating there high percentage carbohydrate meals.

Here’s The Solution…
It is better to balance your intake of carbohydrates with protein and fat. The correct macro-nutrient ratio to stabilise blood sugar levels is 40% Carbohydrates 30% Protein and 30% Fat.

You may think that 30% Fat is way too much especially if you’ve been indoctrinated into the “Low Fat Diet” way of thinking. But trust us …Low Fat is not the way to go. In fact, a low fat diet is a sure way to stay fat!

Here’s a quick question for you… In all those “Low Fat” products you can buy in the supermarkets, what do you think they replace the fat with?  …It’s SUGAR!!! And we’ve already let you know that Too Much Sugar In Your Diet = You Stay Fat For Life!

If you eat a balance of 40/30/30 (40% Carbs, 30% Protein, 30% Fat) you will stabilise your blood sugar levels. As your blood sugar levels start to drop you body produces the other Master Hormone called ‘Glucogon’.

Glucogon says to the body that there isn’t enough sugar in the blood so it converts stored fat back into sugar which you use up as energy.

Now Here’s Where It Gets Exciting…
For each meal you eat at 40/30/30  – You Burn 70 Calories of Fat! So if you eat 3 main meals and 2 snacks per day at 40/30/30 you will burn 350 calories of Fat per Day for free.

Do this for just 1 week and you’ll have just burnt yourself off 2450 Fat Calories which is approximately 2 Lbs of Fat in 1 week, just by changing to the 40/30/30 ratio.
